As we have all had to change the way we live that means that our usual routines are unable to take place. Having a routine is a great way to help manage stress, so it is a good idea to make a new routine so that you can bring back some more structure to your day. Right down a list of things you need to do in the day and stick to it.

Take care of your body

Whether this be exercising, eating healthy or meditating, making sure you take care of your body is important to help reduce stress during these times. Make sure you are finding time to do something that helps your body. Eating right and exercising can do wonders at helping reduce stress.

Make time to unwind

Make sure you take some time to do activities that you actually enjoy and that bring you joy to help unwind and destress.  If you are unable to do your usual hobbies, then try and develop new ones that can be done from the comfort of your home.

Connect with others

It is important to make sure in this time where we are stuck in our households that we are connecting with others. Technology allows us to connect with people through a lot of different methods. Facetime or Skype friends and family to help stay connected and to feel less lonely. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.
